Creating OpenLinux Diskettes in Windows Getting Started Guide 29 1. Insert a blank formatted 3 1/2 inch diskette into your floppy diskette drive. 2. From the “Windows Tools & Commercial Packages” CD-ROM main menu, select Install Products. A list of installation options appears. 3. Select Create Floppy Install Diskettes. 4. Select one of the following: Create Lizard Install diskette or Create Lisa Install diskette. You are prompted to enter the destination drive. 5. Type the drive letter where you have inserted a blank diskette and press Enter. The Installation diskette is created. This can take several minutes--a counter tracks the progress as the dis- kette is copied. 6. Remove the Installation Diskette and label it. Either label the diskette “Boot/Install” for Lizard or “Lisa Boot/Install” for Lisa. Creating a Module Diskette A module disk contains additional drivers that may be needed during the installa- tion process. There are different module diskettes to go with Lisa or Lizard installs. Procedures for creating them, however, are nearly the same. To create a Module Diskette: NOTE: The Module diskette may not be needed during the Installation start-up process. However, if it is needed to cor- rectly recognize your hardware, you will need to return to this point and create one if you haven’t already. 1.
